Drilling fluid shale inhibitor modified asphalt FT-342 is black powder used as water-based drilling fluid shale stabilizer. After adding shale inhibitor modified asphalt FT-342 into the drilling fluid, it can strongly inhibit shale hydration expansion and can form thin and firm mud cake in order to ensure stable borehole wall and unobstructed trip. Drilling fluid shale inhibitor modified asphalt FT-342 also makes the drilling fluid have better lubricity, lower API and HTHP filtrate loss. Usually the dosage is 1.5%~3.0%.
