Product Introduction
Drilling fluid lubricating agent polymeric alcohol GD-5 is a newly-developed product of our company.? It is made from a recombination of minor non-toxic mineral oil and various surfactants, with refined processing through physical and chemical reactions. Compared with similar products, it shows a superior lubricating property. Through the electrostatic interaction and physico chemical adsorption on the drill bit surface, drilling cuttings and drilling fluid, the product improves the surface properties of the drill bit, drilling rig and drilling cuttings, increases the borehole cleaning rate, decreases the bit balling, thus increasing the drilling speed. Through improving the lubrication of the drilling fluid, it can also effectively reduce the friction and torque of the fluid, thus increasing the drilling speed. This product also has a favorable performance in restraining the hydration, swelling and dispersion of the shale, playing an important role in keeping the stability of the borehole. It can also increase the drilling speed through eliminating the micron and submicron particles in the drilling fluid rapidly. To be used in concert with the cutting drills, GD-5 will have a better performance with 12-38% increase of the drilling speed. The drilling effect for sandstone formation is better for that of limestone formation, with the increase rates of 14-38% and 12-40% respectively.
The product can be widely used in all kinds of wells, particularly applied in highly-deviated wells and deep wells.?
It can be put directly into the drilling fluid or gradually added to the circulating mud according to the cycle period. The general dosage is 0.2-0.8%. When used in heavy mud, the dosage shall be increased properly. ???

The product is packed with plastic?drum or metal drum with 100kg/ drum and 200kg/drum, or it can be packed as required. ?It shall be stored in cool, dry and ventilated places; please keep it away from fire in storage and transportation.
The product is non-toxic, causing no harm to the environment and human body. It shall be handled as industrial chemicals using protection tools. Please refer to the International Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for safety attentions.
